Saratoga Affair

Chad Brown’s filly had to face a field with experience on Sunday but she still came out on top and will only improve for that initial effort.

She came from well off the pace to storm to the front at the finish and looks as though she will appreciate a longer trip.

One to follow over 1m.

Prairie Wings

This filly was making her debut for Todd Fletcher after finishing second on her sole start for her previous yard and she again filled that position.

With no luck throughout, she was sandwiched in a terrible position on the bend with Luis Saez struggling to find a clear path.

This problem carried on into the straight where she was stuck on the inside rail with no place to go.

Saez had to be patient and she finished with a rattle once the gap appeared.

Primacy

In the same race, the promising Primacy was backed off the boards for Chad Brown but could only manage third having endured similar issues to race-rival Prairie Wings.

She didn’t get the smoothest of routes having to switch mid-race and looks sure to win races with the form of her debut also working out.

Lashara

Lashara is a $800,000 daughter of American Pharaoh who struck impressively after disappointing on debut.

She was strong in the market and looked comfortable at the finish despite still not looking the most straight forward. She looks like the type to keep improving for her racing and you wouldn’t rule her out to become a graded filly.
