A trainer on Wednesday is looking to have a winner at Catterick on the flat, sending just one runner to the North Yorkshire venue on the day, seeing the handler make a 468 mile round trip.

When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.

Hughie Morrison has 2 winners from his last 2 runners and has a 23% strike rate in September.

The trainer doesn't bring many to Catterick, just 3 across the last 5 seasons, so it's eyecatching to see one of his runners make the trip.

His runner, Scheherazade, a daughter of Adaay, remains lightly raced and looks sure to improve for her second attempt at the 2mile trip.

She is well weighted for the contest off her current rating, receiving a further 3yo allowance that should give her an edge here in this field.

She has plenty scope for improvements and has been well supported in the early market.
