Trainer Milton Harris on Tuesday is looking to have a winner at Fakenham today over the jumps, sending just one runner to the Norfolk based track on the day, which sees the handler make a 406 mile round trip.
When we see trainers coming such a long way to just run the one horse we like to highlight it, as we believe they would not be coming all that way if it did not have a real chance.
The handler loves bringing his horses this far currently running at a strike rate of 16% for the season having had 10 winners from his 64 runners coming this far.
Having won a jumpers bumper three starts ago, he tried to double his tally up next time out but ran no sort of race and was sent to Plumpton back over hurdles.
The gelding managed to bounce back to form last time out when a close third behind some nice horses on fairly quick ground and he gets those conditions again today.
