Today we are looking back on the 2019 renewal of the Coral Eclipse with the Group One 2022 renewal set to take place on Saturday, but before that we are going back to Enable's victory.
The queen of racing is now off at stud but during her career, her and Frankie Dettori lit up the racing world by demolishing fields in some of the biggest flat races across the globe.
Taking out two Arc's, Irish Oaks, Epsom Oaks, Three King George & Queen Elizabeth Stakes, Breeders Cup Turf and the Coral Eclipse to name a few races, she will go down in racing history for good.
The race we are focusing on today with her is the Sandown feature with her win in July 2019 seeing her see off Magical again, aswell as Lockinge winner Mustashry and Group One winner Regal Reality.
Enable is a mare that might never be matched in the sport, a lot like Frankel for the same owner and today we want everyone to sit back and reminisce in this performance.
Enable will meet a maximum of 7 rivals in the Coral-Eclipse at @Sandownpark on Sunday. Will the mighty mare repeat her win of last year?
