Today's throwback race of the day is looking at last year's bet365 Fillies' Mile at Newmarket where Quadrilateral for Roger Charlton stole the show in the final strides.
This Group One always acts as a good benchmark for who will be near the top of the betting for the 1000 Guineas the season after, with the juveniles coming to the end of their first term on the track.
Quadrilateral after winning this event last year shot straight to the top of the market for that race, but could only go on to finish third in the Classic event.
However, it was a day to remember for the team after winning this race with the filly showing a superb attitude in the final stages of the race to just pip the Hugo Palmer trained Powerful Breeze.
