Frankie Dettori takes the ride for John and Thady Gosden’s Free Wind here off the back of a very smart campaign to date.

The Galileo filly showed encouragement on debut to be fourth but made a striking impression when winning by a wide margin on her three year old comeback in June.

She easily defied her penalty over 10 furlongs at Doncaster and was narrowly denied in listed ranks at Newmarket when tackling 12 furlongs for the first time.

Unfazed by her narrow defeat to Golden Pass, she moved over to Deauville and handily took apart a 12.5 furlong race there to take Group Three honours.

Her form sets the standard and going further will likely open her up to further improvement.

The daughter of Camelot was first seen this term in May winning on soft ground over 11.5f at Hamilton in taking style, beating the talented Eileendover, Thousand Oaks and Constanta who have all won since.

She made it back to back wins when running over the same trip at Lingfield next time out, seeing off a nice runner in second.

The filly then went to Newmarket and was given a slight reality check in the Listed Chalice Stakes when see back in fourth behind some inferior horses at 1m4f.

However, she was stepped up in trip at Chester next time out in another Listed event and took it in her stride to see off Dancing King to take a nice event, with the second since winning a good race.

The further she goes the better she becomes and if improving once more she is a big player.

Scalped Yesyes at Newmarket on her most recent run, Save A Forest has had a busy 3 year old season to date.

Already having 6 runs this year, she took some experience from winter runs on the all weather before claiming an impressive win at Wolverhampton over 9.5 furlongs.

Easily winning off a mark of 79 on her next run, she was then unlucky to be 2nd in the Oaks trial at Lingfield where she came 2nd to Sherbet Lemon.

She ran an almighty race to be 4th in the Oaks behind Snowfall and although no match for the runaway winner, she posted a great effort to come just outside the placings.

She improved for her outing in the Oaks and suggested her future could lie over even further when getting up late to win a listed race over a mile and a half in July.

Stamina looks her forte and she should relish the extra distance here.

A four year old who makes the trip over from Ireland for Jessica Harrington but she’s been well beaten when dipping her toe into group company before.

Winning her first three races of her career, she won low grade events as a two year old before winning a listed race over 10 furlongs as a three year old on her first run last season.

She’s since 0 from 8 however but has managed to rack up some strong outings despite defeat.

Going up in trip could bring about the improvement necessary to get competitive at this level but she’s just looked shy of group quality so far in her career.

Last seen coming 9th in the Ebor at York last month, Tribal Craft has been a strong servant for connections and took a Group Three prize over this trip at York last May.

Mixing it between handicaps and listed races for most of her career, she really found her feet this campaign and has posted some career bests.

Easily beating Urban Artist at York earlier in the season and being 2nd to Wonderful Tonight at Goodwood were both strong pieces of form over today’s trip.

Her best form has come on rain softened ground however so it would be likely that she would need rain to get really competitive.

Peaking when beating Free Wind ay Newmarket in July, Golden Pass finds herself a large price in comparison to her rival that she pipped to listed honours recently.

She’s a hardy front runner who wears her heart on her sleeve but couldn’t lie up with male horses when last seen at Newbury. Well beaten behind Hukum she moved up to 13.5 furlongs and was seemingly left wanting.

Her form has been relatively consistent and she can make every yard over 12 furlongs. It might be difficult to settle her down enough to get her to stay this trip however.

She could bounce back from Newbury in style but she’s left a bit to be desired.

The three year old filly was seen twice as a juvenile getting off the mark at the second time of asking, but was then seen again this term when finishing fifth of seven in a stellar renewal of the Musidora Stakes at York behind superstar Snowfall.

Dropped back to Listed company over 1m3f at Hamilton she was a good third behind two nice types and then backed that up last time out when another good third at York in the Listed Galtres Stakes.

The further she has gone the better she seems to have become and this trip might be the making of her and at 25/1 it is worth finding out.

Ed Walker could not be in better form at the moment currently running at a strike rate of 37% over the last two weeks with 11 winners from 30 runners.I

nform Buick in the saddle aswell a bonus.

Not quite hitting the heights that her listed bumper win suggested that she would, Eileendover did finally get her head in front when last seen over 14 furlongs at Newmarket.

Despite being campaigned over a mile and a half for most of the season in deep contests, the daughter of Canford Hills struggled to find her feet before scoring readily in a decent fillies’ handicap last month.

She moves up in grade off the back of finally getting back into the winner’s enclosure but has already been beaten this season by Yesyes and Golden Pass.

She’s worth an attempt at this kind of level but is going to have to take a major step forward to get involved.

After a disappointing spell jumping, Urban Artist has taken to the flat exceptionally well.
A sequence of three wins last season made her look a promising sort for Hughie Morrison as she climbed through the handicap ranks with relative ease.

Beaten when moved up to listed company, she’s not managed to taste success this season either having been beaten by Tribal Craft on seasonal comeback.

Last seen being narrowly denied at Goodwood in handicap company, connections would probably have been praying for rain for her to get right in the mix.
