One Horse, Jockey And Trainer To Follow From Saint-Cloud

Horse To Follow - Vienne

Our best bet of the day comes in the Prix Durban Conditions race for Fillies on the turf and Vienne for trainer Jean-Claude Rouget could be a very smart contender.

The three year old filly looks to be the horse to beat off the back of what she has done in her career so far, getting off the mark nicely in October on her fourth start.

She got cut in the ground for the first time at Compiegne on her last start and made it count over nine furlongs and the step up in trip should only bring more improvement out of her.

Trainer To Follow - Frederic Rossi

Trainer Frederic Rossi has four runners on the card at Saint-Cloud on Tuesday and with some of them looking to be at value prices he may just pay to follow.

After the first day back racing in France he is running at a strike rate of 25% having one winner from the four he fielded which looks good.

In the final race of the day he has a very nice colt called Terre De France running and we believe this could be his best chance on the day.

The three year old landed a hat-trick at the back end of 2019 and although not being as strong at the start of this year, he did finish a decent second at Cagnes-Sur-Mar which looks good form.

The more rain the better for this colt who has plenty of ability and could have a very strong season with conditions he will like.

Jockey To Follow - Maxime Guyon

Maxime Guyon landed a hat-trick on his first day back in the saddle at ParisLongchamp on Monday and we are backing the inform rider to have another special day at Saint-Cloud.

Currently running at strike rate of 33.33% with the three winners from his nine rides it is very hard to look at any other jockey that could be in better form.

We believe in Tuesday he has two stand out rides at the Parisian track, starting with Smart Whip in the second race of the day.

Although now nine years old looks one of the more likely contenders to land this contest having the experience in these type of contests.

The gelding is overdue a win in this sphere having place nicely in his last two races on the flat and also getting his ground of soft or heavy will be a plus.

Secondly, Guyon sits on the bottom weight Halboville in the Prix Teddy over a mile and this four year old was lightly raced last year which should allow her to still improve this term and on her last run in February finished a fine third at Chantilly that can be built on today.
