Cloud Cover should have leading claims in the Fillies' Handicap at Newcastle, due off at 13:00 today.

The James Tate yard is striking at 25% over the last two weeks, and in-form jockey Clifford Lee is booked to take the ride.

She was last seen winning in listed company in France last month over an extended seven furlongs, but has plenty of ability at British all-weather tracks, winning five from 13 starts.

That includes an excellent win over course and distance on finals day in March.

James Ferguson and Daniel Muscutt join forces with Cyclonite in the 13:35 at Newcastle today.

The three-year-old has won twice from four efforts on the all-weather.

He was an impressive winner over six furlongs at Kempton on his first start after being gelded in early December, beating Ardennes by over a length.

Open to more progress on the all-weather, and is unlikely to be that far away.
