One of the key races at Newbury on Saturday is the eagerly anticipated Betfair Grade Three Hurdle over two miles and this race every season throws out some big name winners that go on to do great things in there racing lives.
We feel that this seasons renewal is one of the better ones for a while with the current field that is set to go to post but with many star names also very unlikely to be declared including the favourite Not So Sleepy, there is clear value on offer.
The Nicky Henderson trainer Never Adapt has the potential to turn into a star mare, not having much racing experience during campaign as a race horse but has shown bundles of ability on her four starts.
The five year old mare won over in France in 2018 and was then bought by JP McManus and moved over to England and given to Mr Henderson
She finished third in November 2018 at Cheltenham in the Triumph Hurdle Trial contest being beaten by Quel Destin and Cracker Factory who have since turned out to be very smart horses for their respective trainers
On her seasonal debut this season she was third again in a decent contest but that was a prep run for fitness and she proved on her last start that she had come on for that run.
She headed to Kempton in a Class 3 over two miles and although pulling hard all the way round showed a superb attitude and turn of foot to clinch the race after the final flight.
The current 8/1 for the contest on Saturday with most betting firms looks very attractive with plenty of bookmakers also offering many extra places if the field is big enough.
