At the top of the market is 5 year old Audarya for James Franshawe and Wiliam Buick. The mare was last seen running in the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot last month where she went down narrowly to Love.

She’s been highly successful for connections and has taken home two Group 1 victories in her career over 10 furlongs.

Winning a handicap off a mark of 99 last year, she took a giant leap forward to win a group one over in Deauville at long odds.

She ran a blinder to be 3rd in the Prix de l’Opera before a trip to the Breeder’s Cup meeting yielded her second group 1 win.

She’s a really smart mare who’s got form on a variety of goings across the globe. With a brilliant prep run under her belt she looks a solid favourite here.

Age: 3
Weight: 8-12

Days: 39

The first of a pair of Ballydoyle fillies, Joan Of Arc was last seen stepping up to 10 furlongs for the first time and winning the Prix de Diane over at Chantilly.

She only ran once as a 2 year old and was beaten by a narrow margin in November at Dundalk. She came back after a 135 day break to win a maiden at the Curragh over 7 furlongs on deep ground before moving up to a mile to seal a group 3 success.

She was then caught on the line by a faster finisher in the Irish 1000 Guineas on deep ground.

Moving up in trip when last seen unlocked more improvement from her and she gets weight from her elders. The ground is in her favour and she looks set to put in a massive run under Ryan Moore.

Another older horse, this time for William Jarvis, Lady Bowthorpe rose to prominence last year when winning the Valiant Fillies Stakes easily at Ascot.

With a group 3 in the books she struggled to shoulder the penalty for her success in the same grade before finding a group 1 too hot in her last run of the season.

Put away until May of this year, she came back in fine form when beating Queen power over 9 furlongs at Newmarket to secure a Group 2 win.

She then ran an absolute screamer to be 2nd to Palace Pier as he ripped the Lockinge Stakes apart.

Last seen putting in another mighty performance in the Falmouth Stakes, younger legs got the better of her over a mile and she’s just starting to hint like going back over further will suit her more.

She’s untested at the trip but has been running well this season. Heavy ground doesn’t look like her ideal however.

Mentioned early as the Irish 1000 Guineas winner, she just managed to finish faster than Joan Of Arc to seize classic success from her stablemate.

A lightly raced sort for Aidan O’Brien, she didn’t make her racing debut until late March of this year. She made the perfect first impression however by winning in fine style over a mile on soft ground.

Unable to transition into higher grades immediately, she found 7 furlongs on fast ground too taxing for speed and 9.5 furlongs too taxing for Stamina.

Things fell right for her in the Irish 1000 Guineas where she just got there in the nick of time under Seamie Heffernan.

A little too keen in the Coronation Stakes on her last run, she was left behind by the market principles and had to settle for 10th.

If moving up in trip unlocks some more untapped potential she’s clearly classy enough to get involved here.

Zeyaadah is yet another 3 year old looking to take advantage of the weight for age allowance she gets in this race.

A talented 2 year old, she captured a listed prize over a mile at Newmarket at the end of last season.

This year things have taken a while to fall into place for her. Coming 2nd on seasonal comeback over 12 furlongs she chased home Dubai Fountain in the Cheshire Oaks in early May.

She then went for the Epsom classic and despite market support she fell well short and trialled home in 13th of the 14 Oaks runners.

Dropping back in trip and class for her most recent outing she bounced back to form and won a Group 3 on the all weather at Newcastle over 10 furlongs. Just getting the better of Technique in a tight finish.

The form hasn’t worked out particularly well but she looked far more at home over a mile and a quarter, posting a solid time in the process.

Soft ground and a move back up in grade provide concerns.

Tom Marquand takes the ride on 3 year old filly Technique.

A late starter to racing life, she only made her debut in late January of this year but she got off the mark at the first time of asking.

Given a few months off she nearly scored in listed company when going down by a head to Wirko at Epsom.

The Oaks her clear target, she was poor in the Oaks trial on soft ground at Lingfield, coming 7th of the 8 runners. She ran better in the Oaks and certainly outran odds of 125/1 but she only managed 7th.

Last seen going down to Zeyaadah at Newcastle on the all weather, she looks held by that rival who has plenty on her plate to get competitive in this race.

Soft ground was her undoing at Lingfield so there’s no guarantee she’ll be comfortable with it here.
