Agartha for Joseph O'Brien is very much a progressive filly, proven by her step up from maidens to the Group 3 Silver Flash stakes in July, by which she ran out an impressive 2.75 length winner at 16/1 odds, making all from the front.

The daughter of Caravaggio then followed up last time out with a Group 2 win in the Debutante Stakes upon soft ground over C&D ahead of both Sunset Shiraz and Discoveries; once again making all from the front, albeit whilst her many length lead dwindled to just 2 lengths on the run up to the line.

That form ahead of her re-opposing rivals gives her just about leading claims in this, however they'll be much warier and less willing to let her have her own way at the front this time around; we can expect a much closer finish.

Dermot Weld is in great form of late and runs Homeless Songs in the Moyglare Stud Stakes.

The daughter of Frankel is 1 from 1 thanks to a 2 length win of Agartha in a maiden back in July.

It must be noted that Agartha has improved and landed a duo of Group races since that run, however based on current evidence, Homeless Songs looks the better horse of the two and is entitled to improve again second time out.

Looks to be overpriced.

Ger Lyons is in fantastic form of late with a 30% strike rate across the last 14 days; he teams up with current Irish flat champion jockey, Colin Keane, who similarly boasts an impressive 22% strike rate across the same period.

The pair run Cairde Go Deo, a daughter of Camelot, who made her debut with a runner-up finish at Leopardstown over a mile before stepping back down to 7f to win next time out by an impressive 4 length margin.

She now steps into a Group 1 and appears a progressive type who may just be up for being competitive at this level despite her inexperience in the bigger races.

Jessica Harrington is operating at a highly touted 23% strike rate in the last 14 days.

She runs Discoveries who stepped up from a smart maiden win up against a talented Aidan O'Brien debutant to place 3rd in the Debutante Stakes last time out.

That run was however a 3rd placed finish behind Agartha and Sunset Shiraz and despite looking likely to reduce that margin on the winner, she still has it all to find in reversing form with them both.

Gavin Cromwell runs Sunset Shiraz who will fancy her chances of a closer finish with Agartha when they meet in the Moyglare Stud stakes.

The impression she left last time out in the Debutante Stakes, in which she finished 2nd, was that she ran a big race to keep on well from the rear and go clear chasing the leader.

Should she attempt to follow the leader this time around, it will be interesting to see if she can get the better of her this time around after showing her capabilities to see out an extended 8f with a 4th placed maiden finish prior.

Prettiest is one of two Aidan O'Brien runners in the race and the trainer has saddled 2 winners in the last 10 renewals of the Moyglare Stud Stakes.

The daughter of Dubawi actually beat market leader Agartha on debut at Navan over 5.5f before subsequently running a decent race on heavy ground over 6f in the Group 3 Sandrine Stakes next time out.

The step up to 7f on good ground at Leopardstown didn't go quite to plan in the Group 3 Silver Flash stakes as Agartha reversed the form with a 4.75 length margin win.

The step up to Group 1 company last time out also ended in disappointment with a well beaten 7th placed finish back down at 6f.

Looks out of her depth once more here in Group 1 company back up at an unproven 7f.

Concert Hall is the 2nd of the Aidan O'Brien runners in the race, equipped with Seamie Heffernan in the saddle.

The daughter of Dubawi stepped up from a 6f debut runner up finish to win a maiden on her first attempt over the extended 7.

The step up to a Group 2 on soft looked to find her out last time however with a 7th placed finish in the Debutante Stakes behind a number of these runners.

The return to better ground would see her in a different light, although she still has plenty to find on the first 3 home that day who all re-oppose her here.

Jim Bolger's big outsider Missing Matron has it all to find here in Group 1 company.

This will be her first attempt at 7f having raced over 5 & 6f sprint trips throughout her 8 race career.

She won on debut here at Curragh over 5f however has been winless since and has been disappointing with 19th and 7th of 7 placed finishes the last twice.

May improve for the new trip but appears well out of her depth.
