The six year old should be looked back on in his career as being a dual Diamond Jubilee winner at the royal meeting but having been beaten twice in a photo finish, he is one of the hard luck stories in racing.

Saying that both those were superb and especially on soft ground he has shown clear speed to be able to mix it with the best in the sport.

Last time out he landed the Group Two Hungerford Stakes over seven furlongs at Newbury, beating the field by seven lengths and if being able to reproduce that form over six again, he has to be the one to beat on current form.

The Kevin Ryan trained sprinter has been a shining light for the yard landing the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot this year and also taking this same race last season.

Although only finishing fifth of 12 in the July Cup at Newmarket he bounced back to for last time out when finishing a bold second behind Space Blues in the Prix Maurice De Gheest.

Hello Youmzain has been known as a strong traveller in his races and if getting a clear passage on soft ground, he has to be another one in the pipe line.

The three year has been a star sprinter for the yard that has also had Harry Angel and Lethal Force and this colt if winning this race will be put in the same bracket as them.

As a juvenile he landed the Group Two Gordon Stakes and then went on to finish a narrow second in the Middle Park Stakes to Earthlight who he faces on Sunday.

He seems to have come on a huge amount during the winter and now a year older has already won the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot.

He stayed on well for third in the July Cup at Newmarket and although fading late on in the Prix Maurice De Gheest he holds bundles of ability.

A P O'Brien

Aidan O'Brien's main attack in the race comes in the way of this colt who has been in and around the frame in some strong races this season but has not been able to get his head in front.

Finishing third on seasonal debut over a mile in the Irish 2000 Guineas the drop back to six furlongs was needed but he disappointed at Ascot.

The three year old got back to form when a close second behind Pinatubo in the Prix Jean Prat at Deauville and staying on nicely again last time out in the Prix Maurice De Gheest was another sign he still holds his potential.

He has some very strong form behind some top horses, but never being able to get his nose in front makes him a worry again in this classy field.

Each way potential.

The King Power owned three year old has shown himself to be a aspiring talent for the yard, winning three of his five outings to date, including the Five Furlong Palace Of Holyroodhouse Handicap at Royal Ascot this year.

That performance saw him land a hat-trick of wins and put himself on the map as a sprinter and from there has since stepped up once again.

The son of Dark Angel headed over to Naas for his Irish debut in the Group Three Lacken Stakes and at a short price made a decent field look very average to gain his fourth successive win.

Before the Nunthorpe, where he ran no sort of race he had landed his three turf starts by a combined 11 lengths in mostly soft conditions meaning he will enjoy any rain that falls between now and the race.

Each way value.

Owen Burrows
Age: 5
Weight: 9-3

Owen Burrows is a trainer bang in form with some high profile winners this season and he will be hoping Tabdeed can go close in this one.

He looks to have a lot to find on what he has done during his career, although finishing second on seasonal debut and winning the Group Three Hackwood Stakes over course and distance last time out, these good performances have come in lesser company to that of Saturday.

He knows how to win and does look progressive having been lightly raced for a five year old but it would take a huge step forward to see him in the mix.

Glen Shiel has been the surprise package for the Archie Watson yard this season, being highly progressive and landing two nice events recently.

Having been a handicapper, he has progressed into a slightly better horse than that now winning the Group Three Phoenix Sprint Stakes at The Curragh last time out.

Hollie Doyle gets the mount and she is in fine form, but it looks as though it would take a bad day at the office for the market leaders for a horse like Glen Shiel to land this Group One.

The Tin Man is the veteran in the field having won this race back in 2018 and now at the age of eight is hoping for as much rain as possible with heavy ground being his forte.

The gelding has run some nice races at big prices since his win two years ago, but the matter of fact is that he has not landed a contest in two years.

It would be a shock to see him win this race at his age but does still retain his old ability and the more rain the better.

For the same trainer and owner partnership Archer's Dream gets the fillies allowance off the rest of the field but even with that it looks a very tough task for the filly to go close here.

She has raced twice this season, both races coming over course and distance at Haydock and after running no race on seasonal debut, she got off the mark for the season in a conditions stakes.

That looks very weak form and being thrown into a Group One off the back of that makes her vulnerable and deserved of the price she is.

Summerghand is a remarkable handicap sprinter for David O'Meara but has never shown his best performances when stepped up to group company and that makes him a opposable.

He does handle soft ground but has given his best runs on quicker ground and although landing the Stewards Cup two starts ago and placing in some fair events throughout the season, this Group One looks a big task.

Another veteran in the field is Brando who is the second string runner for Kevin Ryan and at the age of eight just looks slightly out of his depth in black type races now.

As a younger horse the gelding landed some superb events over five and six furlongs including the Abernant Stakes twice and the Coral Charge.

However, now coming towards the end of his career he is not as powerful and quick as he used to be and he looks to be making up the numbers now.

The big outsider of the field is Forever In Dreams, who like many of the big priced runners in the field looks out of her depth.

Although a course a distance winner last year it came on quick ground and that was the last time she has been seen in the winners enclosure.

Opposable.

The final runner of the race is Queen Jo Jo again for Kevin Ryan who has a three pronged attack on the event but unless the filly can come on for her recent efforts she has not shown that she will be able to handle this Group One.

Her stand out piece of form this year came at York when landing the Group Three Summer Fillies Stakes at York beating 18 runners.

Building on that run makes her interesting for the places and the form of that race has since been franked.

She looks one of the more likely outsiders to get near the frame.
