WEMBLEY (2000 GUINEAS) AND WILLOW (EPSOM OAKS) @ 125/1

Who would be your first horse to follow for the season?

"Trained by Aidan O'Brien the three year old daughter of American Pharoah WILLOW has had three runs so far ending last season running over a mile in a maiden at Leopardstown and getting off the mark in smart fashion.

"She’s out of Peeping Fawn who is superb race mare and the further she goes this season the better she will be with the yard expecting her to be one of the fillies to have an outstanding term.

"O'Brien has big plans for her throughout the season with her work being good at home and she’s still a decent price for the Epsom Oaks being 16/1 with most firms."

Is there a horse you fancy for the 2000 Guineas?

"WEMBLEY is a horse I like also trained by Aidan O'Brien he’s had a few more starts than the normal horses from the yard for a Guineas prospect from Ballydoyle, but looks to be a very classy prospect.

"He was very consistent at the top level last year ending his season finishing second in the Group 1 Dewhurst Stakes behind his stablemate St Marl's Basilica.

"All six of his runs last year were over 7f and on pedigree stepping up to a mile this year will be his trip.

"He’s also said to be working very well at home ahead of his return that could see him go straight to Newmarket in May."

Who is your final horse to follow for the term?

"VALYRIAN STEEL trained by Roger Varian is my third and final selection.

"He’s also a horse that’s had three starts but he’s a 4-Y-O colt that is said to be heading into the prime stages of his career ahead of this season.

"He’s a well bred son of Frankel, who won his first two starts at Newcastle and Beverley and then ended his year finishing fourth at York in a handicap.

"He’s the subject of very favourable work reports and I expect him to be quite a smart performer in whatever races the trainer decides to send him into.
