Carlo Ancelotti Owner Of Sea Of Class's Half Brother

Italian Football giant Carlo Ancelotti has been announced today that he is the proud owner the yearling that is a half brother to this seasons three year old superstar and the narrow Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe runner up Sea Of Class.

The quickly named Honor And Pleasure who is the son of Oasis Dream was firstly a 240,000 Gns vendor buyback by Jamie Railton, Who was only acting on behalf of connections as an agent.

From this there was a private deal that was put into place by Alessandro Botti who was in fact there on behalf of the ex Chelsea, Real Madrid, AC Milan, Juventus, PSG, Roma and Bayern Munich Manger, who is now plying his trade back in Italy with Napoli.

Honor and Pleasure was raised by Botti and his whole family, having links to his father and uncles who all helped bring the horse up in a little town called Razza del Velino which is not far away from the Italian capital Rome.

(Credit Paris Turf) Botti said: "We bought him for €240,000.

"Carlo was really happy to become owner of a horse of this quality, with his friend in Naples, Giovanni Mauri.

"It's a dream because he is the half-brother to one of the best fillies of her generation. His maternal line is fantastic. His mother produced several Classic winners.

"In view of all these elements, I find it a little surprising that the yearling's reserve price has not been reached. Of course, it's brilliant for racing that people like Carlo and Giovanni are investing more and more in this sport."

The Italian manager is not the first person in football to get involved in horse racing as he follows in the footsteps of other footballers like Michael Owen, Mick Quinn, Wayne Rooney and Sir Alex Ferguson who had Rock Of Gibraltar who went on to win seven Group 1 races.
