Wolverhampton host a decent card on the all weather on Monday afternoon and there has been some big money come for one of the horses in the Class 5 Handicap over seven furlongs.
Muay Thai for trainer Richard Hannon has undergone a massive gamble in the 17:15 at Wolves being a decent price of 7/1 this morning and today is as short as 9/4 with plenty of time before the off.
The three year gelding is yet to set the world alight off the back of his four starts to date and that makes the gamble worth taking notice of even more, with not much form to back it up.
The youngster made his debut at Ascot in September finishing a fair third of eight and when expected to improve for that run went backwards at Doncaster finishing fifth of 10 runners in a maiden.
Again he was poor when fifth of eight at the end of September when racing at Nottingham and after a small break was sent to Kempton for his all weather debut and finished just outside of the frame.
He looked a better horse on the all weather last time out also being his first run since being gelded and today running in his second handicap off a workable mark, he looks to have a big chance.
