Who To Follow On Saturday In England

Horse To Follow - Hello Youmzain

The feature race of the day at Haydock is the Group One Sprint Cup and we can't look anywhere else than last year's winner Hello Youmzain making it two on the bounce.

The Kevin Ryan trained sprinter has been a shining light for the yard landing the Diamond Jubilee Stakes at Royal Ascot this year and also taking this same race last season.

Although only finishing fifth of 12 in the July Cup at Newmarket he bounced back to for last time out when finishing a bold second behind Space Blues in the Prix Maurice De Gheest.

Hello Youmzain has been known as a strong traveller in his races and if getting a clear passage on soft ground, he has to be respected.

Trainer To Follow - Eric Alston

Eric Alston is a trainer that might not be known to many flat racing fans not having a huge amount of horses, but he is a handler to take notice of being in great form.

Alston over the last two weeks have been in solid form, only turning out two runners and having one winner which sees him running at a 50% strike rate.

He only fields one runner on Saturday at Haydock and its Jabbarockie in the penultimate race of the day who looks a decent price for his handicap mark.

The seven year old, granted, is not getting any younger but this season has shown he still has bundles of quality when winning and placing in similar events.

He is a course and distance winner on soft ground and now only 1lb higher than his last winning mark he looks lovely each way value.

With four wins from his last six runners, Eric Alston truly is a handler to keep on side.

Jockey To Follow - Hollie Doyle

Hollie Doyle is a jockey in a Electric form and in no time is a shoe in to become the first female rider to land the jockeys championship, and this season she is giving it a good go.

Having already passed 50 winners she has 100 in her sights and having landed a four timer last Saturday she will be hoping for another memorable weekend.

In the last two weeks she has had 14 winners from 68 rides which sees her pose a strike rate of 20.59% and she can add to that with a handful of nice rides on Saturday.
