Trainer To Follow - Charlie Appleby

Charlie Appleby could be set for another special day on the July Course on Saturday with a handful of big runners across the afternoon.

His first runner of the afternoon comes in the bet365 Mile with top weighted New Kingdom looking to get back to winning ways on handicap debut.

In the Group Two Superlative Stakes Appleby has one of his best chances of the day with Victory Dance looking to follow in the footsteps of some top class winners for the yard.

His final runners come in the Group One July Cup with Platinum Jubilee winner and runner up Naval Crown and Creative Force looking to go close once more.

Appleby heads into the meeting sporting a 29% strike rate for the last two weeks, managing to land six winners from his last 21 runners.

Jockey To Follow - Christophe Soumillon

Leading french rider Christophe Soumillon heads over to flat racing HQ for the final day of the July meeting and he has managed to pick up some nice rides.

His first ride of the afternoon comes in the bet365 Mile with Laasudood who was a nice winner last time out and could go close again.

In the Group Two Superlative Stakes he has picked up a spare on Dark Thirty for Richard Hannon with the yard already having a winner at the meeting this week.

Soumillon will be looking to get Jumby back in the winners enclosure off the back of a smart third at Royal Ascot last time out and then his big ride of the afternoon comes on his mate Perfect Power in the Group One July Cup Stakes.

The Frenchman has ridden three winners from seven rides this season in the UK, with two of them coming on Perfect Power.
