Who To Follow On Day One Of The Newmarket Cambridgeshire Meeting 2023

Andy Smith | @AndySmithRacing

Trainer To Follow - John & Thady Gosden

The Gosden pair send five runners onto the Rowley Mile for Day One of the Cambridgeshire Meeting.

With Trawlerman heading the betting for his contest in what looks a weak looking listed race, it's hard not to see him notching a win for the father and son duo.

Elsewhere on the card they send a pair of un-raced colts for the opening maiden, Blown Away heads the betting for the Nursery handicap and Eben Shabbad sits second in the betting for the Tattersall Stakes, looking to back up his debut win on the July course.

The pair could well enjoy a good opening day of the meeting.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore is heading to Newmarket with four strong looking rides on the card for the day.

The $1.1M colt Ortelius opens the day for the Ballydoyle boys and he looks to have a good chance of breaking his maiden and going on to bigger and better things.

He also takes the ride on Military in the feature race for the day who heads the betting for the Tattersall Stakes.
