Who To Follow From Kempton On Wednesday

Horse To Follow - Born With Pride

Born With Pride For William Haggas is our horse to follow at Kempton on Wednesday and she races in the first Group race of the season, the Classic Trial.

The 1 mile 2 furlong contest sees the three year old filly take on the boys and after her impressive debut back in November when landing a Listed contest on debut, there is plenty to like about her.

Top jockey Tom Marquand has been given the leg up which is a huge bonus but overall, this filly has already seen market support for the Epsom Oaks and if running to form in this one will be very tough to beat and will be a very small price for the fillies classic.

Trainer To Follow - William Haggas

William Haggas has some nice runners on Wednesday at Kempton and with his leading light for the season Born With Pride favourite for the Classic Trial he could be a big day for the handler.

The trainer, in our eyes, is going to have one of his best seasons date with plenty of horses that could compete in the big Group Ones throughout the season.

Normally, Haggas' horses need the run but with the season starting as late as it has, his horses should be as fit as possible and can go well without the needed run.

Jockey To Follow - Tom Marquand

Going with the theme the jockey we are putting up to follow is Tom Marquand and with his recent exploits in Australia he will be looking to continue where he left off.

Him and William Haggas could become a serious force to be reckoned with this season and obviously Born With Pride will be their first test of the season.

When the pairing work together they are running at a strike rate of 23.4% and from a £1 level stake returning a profit of £9.60.

Marquand is set for a huge season and we hope he can hit the ground running on Wednesday.
