One of our best bets of the afternoon comes in the Listed Cheshire Oaks over 1m 3 1/2f with Savethelastdance for Aidan O'Brien holding all the form in the book.

Seen just once as a juvenile when fifth of eight at Thurles over a mile in a Maiden, she was then put away for her three year old campaign.

Given her seasonal debut this term she made a huge impression at Leopardstown when stepped up to 1m2f and going on to beat stablemate Boogie Woogie by 2 1/4 lenghts.

Boogie Woogie has since bolted up in a Fillies' Maiden at Naas and the third Azazat has also gone on to frank the form in a good way.

The softer the better for her off the back of her sole run this season and the step up in trip should suit being a daughter of Galileo.

O'Brien has won seven of the last 14 renewals of this race.

Trainer To Follow - Richard Hannon

Richard Hannon sends just two runners to Chester on Wednesday and we think both of them could run well which makes him the man to follow.

In the opening race of the afternoon on day one of the meeting he fields the strong favourite Ziggy's Phoenix who has the plum draw and will love the soft ground.

The only other runner from the yard comes in the Camden Pale Handicap over 6f and Royal Dress was a nice winner last time out and is the favourite to go in again.

Jockey To Follow - Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore could have a huge day on Wednesday on the Roodee starting in the opener where Ziggy's Phoenix has the plum draw and will love the soft ground.

In the Listed Cheshire Oaks Savethelastdance for Aidan O'Brien looks very tough to beat, having form that stacks up and she will handle the softer conditions.

Moore then rides Adelaide River in the feature Group Three Chester Base with the colt having his first run of the season and looking to build on a decent juvenile career.

Teaming up again with Richard Hannon with Royal Dress, the pair have a strong chance again with another favourite on the day.

Moore has then managed to pick up the ride on Vaguely Royal for John & Thady Gosden who has a superb pedigree and should be better up in trip.

The rider heads into the meeting currently running at a strike rate of 24% over the last two weeks, managing five winners from his last 21 rides.
