Aintree host a superb card on Saturday and one of the highlight races on the card is the Grade Two many Clouds Chase and ahead of the race we are looking back at last year's renewal.
On his seasonal debut the superstar Native River made his return to the track in the staying event and went on to land it by a superb 33 lengths.
Although only taking on four runners, they included superstars like Black Corton and Might Bite, but on the day the Colin Tizzard trained runner was unstoppable.
The Cheltenham Gold Cup winner raced twice ahead of the Cheltenham feature winning both his events, but in the end his trainer decided not to run him in the 2020 renewal and at the age of 10 may not do so again.
Having been one of the best staying chasers in the sport, this looks to be one of his last year's at the top and there is no better way to remember him buy than watching his past performances.
