Today we are looking back at Pinatubo's win in the Dewhurst Stakes in 2019 with the Godolphin colt being one of the smartest juveniles seen on the flat for along time.
The superstar in 2019 lit up the racing world as a two year old when landing all six of his contests including the Listed Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot and after that landing back to back Group Ones in the National Stakes in Ireland and the Dewhurst at Newmarket.
His win in the Dewhurst solidified him being one of the best horses in the world at his age and distance and he was given the best handicap mark ever received by a juvenile since Frankel.
Enjoy his win in the Dewhurst!
