Deeply Superficial

The first horse from the PTP scene that could have a big season under rules is the now Gordon Elliott trained Deeply Superficial who was the most expensive mare to be bought from that sphere ahead of this term costing £385,000.

Seen once at Lingstown in December 2021 in a three mile PTP on good ground over three miles the daughter of Flemensfirth saw off the talented Mullenbeg back in second.

Looks an exciting type for Cullentra House.

Jet Powered

Next up is the highly touted Jet Powered who has been acquired by superb national hunt owners the Donnelly family and the five year old gelding is set to make his rules debut this season under the tutelage of Nicky Henderson.

A winner in December 2021 at Borris House in a three mile PTP on Yielding To Soft ground for 4YO's, Bolting up showing a nice turn of pace and foot perfect at his fences.

Exciting for a yard that has done well for this owner.

Better Days Ahead

The final horse to follow this season coming from the PTP sphere is the exciting Better Days Ahead who will also be with Gordon Elliott after Bective Stud managed to buy the gelding for £350,000.

This came off the back of superb winning performance in February this year at Lisronagh over three miles on soft ground when the gelding pulled away from the field with ease, with his jumping doing the talking.

These owners have been unfortunate at the Cheltenham festival of late but this lad could be the answer to their prayers.
