Dr Zempf for Ger Lyons skipped Royal Ascot to race at The Curragh this weekend and he is looking to add to his debut win when stepping into the Group Two Railway Stakes.

The two year old won on debut at The Curragh on the same card as Point Lonsdale who has gone to frank that form, with the juvenile being equally as impressive.

The son of Dark Angel was seen in a decent six furlong event and showed clear ability and pace to see off what looked a decent field by close to three lengths.

Having swerved the Group Two Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and he is only going to improve for that run and is thought of very highly at home.

One to watch.

Next is the Simon & Ed Crisford trained Najat who looks to be a horse going places this season off the back of her debut and on Saturday she is set to run in the Listed Empress Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket.

The two year old was first seen at Thirsk on quick ground at the start of June in a six furlong Fillies' Novice Stakes and she went on to bolt up by close to five lengths.

She looked to have a great attitude taking to racing at the first time of asking and the next logical step is to go up in Listed company.

The final horse to follow this weekend comes from Newmarket again and this time in the Fillies' Handicap over 1m4f and Sayyida for Charlie Appleby looks to be a big player on handicap debut.

The three year old has been seen three times to date, twice as a juvenile last term when needing her debut at Newmarket, but then used that to finish a good second next time out at Nottingham.

Back for another term she was seen making her seasonal reappearance in a Fillies' Novice Stakes over course and distance and she was an impressive winner by close to three lengths.

Now stepping into handicap company off a mark of 85 she looks to have a big chance to make it back to back wins with the filly also having a superb pedigree being a half sister to Epsom Derby winner Masar.
