One trainer, jockey and horse to follow at Sandown on Thursday

Horse To Follow - Inspiral

The third event of the afternoon at Sandown sees the feature race of the day with the Listed Star Stakes for the Fillies over seven furlongs and it could be a special day for John Gosden as he fields the favourite Inspiral.

The Cheveley Park Stud owned juvenile is one of the most inexperienced horses in the field, but obviously holds bundles of ability off the back of her debut.

The daughter of Frankel on debut was seen landing a seven furlong event on good to firm at Newmarket in superb style, with the second and third in that race since going on to frank it.

She must improve stepping up into this sphere, but the trip and ground seems to be in her favour and she looks a very progressive type.

Trainer To Follow - John & Thady Gosden

John & Thady Gosden could be set for a huge day of winners at Sandown on Thursday with some lovely juveniles set to go to post.

The first horse to take notice of for the handlers is the two year old Dukedom, who made a fine debut when second over course and distance and this event now looks a perfect one to get him off the mark.

Another nice type for the yard comes in the feature Listed event of the day and Inspiral looks to be a very exciting daughter of Frankel

The Gosden's, as ever, have beenin fine form over the last two weeks running at a strike rate of 17% after having seven winners from 42 runners.

Jockey To Follow - William Buick

The man of the moment in the saddle is William Buick who is putting down a huge bid for the jockeys championship and on Thursday he could add some nice winners to his seasonal tally.

Some of the stand out runners for the rider on the day look to be King's Guard in the Maiden Stakes, Wild Beauty in the Listed Star Stakes and Russian Virtue in the Class 4 handicap.

Buick has been in some stellar form at Sandown over the last 12 months having had 10 winners and 11 places from his 49 rides which sees him pose close to a 21% win rate at the track.
