One Horse, Jockey and Trainer To Follow From Lyon-Parilly

Horse To Follow - Lootah

Our horse to follow for the racing at Lyon comes in the 12:15 Poulain Stakes over 1 mile 3 furlongs and we like the look of the Andre Fabre trained Lootah, who looks to be a very nice price at 5/1.

Taking this horse as an each way bet could prove to be the best method with the race being fairly strong and with eight runners you will get three places at most bookmakers.

The three year old colt has raced four times in his small career using his first two contests to get to grips with racing but from there landing back to back events at Cholet and at Lyon-Parilly.

He steps up slightly in trip but that should bring more improvement out of him with his best run coming over the furthest trip.

Pierre-Charles Boudot picks up the ride and he has been in fine form of late with five winners since Monday and running at a strike rate of 20%.

Trainer To Follow - Fabrice Chappet

Fabrice Chappet has started to get into the swing of things gaining some nice winners across the days so far and his horses have been running to a good standard into the placings aswell.

He landed a nice winner at ParisLongchamp yesterday with Magic Attitude at a big price and with four entries at Lyon on Friday he could strike again.

He has a very strong record at this track over the last 12 months with two wins from nine runners at the track and two other places giving him a strike rate of 22.22%

If you backed him blindly with his horses at Lyon-Parilly you would be running at a £7 profit from a £1 level stake.

Jockey To Follow - Maxime Guyon

Jockey Maxime Guyon has been one of the stars on the turf since the return of French racing, picking up a treble on the first day and from there kicking on with more winners.

Overall he has landed five winners across the four days running at a strike rate of over 15% and with five possible rides at Lyon on Friday he could add to that.

He seems to be a bit of a specialist at this track having a strike rate of 27.59% and from his 29 rides in Lyon over the last 12 months he has won eight and placed in another eight.
