ITV Racing are live for a quality Saturday ahead from Newbury and Newcastle. One Grade 1 race takes centre stage at Newcastle, while Newbury host a few handicaps. We've gone through all six live races on the afternoon and picked out our tips and selections for the day.

Dominic's Fault 5/1

General Medrano looks a big player here having already proven he handles this course and distance very well. He won this race last year over a similar trip and looked comfortable throughout, showing he can cope with the track and race conditions.

The combination of a familiar course, experienced jockey, and astute trainer gives him a clear edge when the going, trip, and tactics fall into place. He also arrives in decent form, with a solid reappearance effort suggesting he’s fit and ready to go.

The handicapper has eased him slightly since his previous runs, making him well treated for a race of this level.

If he jumps fluently, settles mid‑division, and receives a confident ride in the closing stages, he could be well positioned to strike late and challenge for the win.
