ITV Racing Tips for Today - Saturday 7th December

ITV are live from three courses on Sunday 7th December, with action coming from Kelso, Huntingdon and Cork. We see the return of Energumene at Cork and the feature Peterborough Chase at Huntingdon. We've gone through all the live races on the afternoon and picked out our tips and selections for the day.

We’re Red And Blue 7/1

Looked a decent enough novice last season, winning a maiden and a novice hurdle well before struggling in some deep handicap hurdles towards the end of the season. Returned with a lowkey effort at Aintree last month but should strip fitter for that. Can prove better than a mark of 116.

King Of Answers 3/1

Ran well in his point to point outings including coming 2nd to Wendigo between the flags. He looked all about stamina over hurdles and made a decent enough chasing debut over 2.5 miles last time out at Hexham. Will improve for that run and should relish this step up in trip.

Neo King 7/1

Is climbing the weights without winning but stays incredibly well and will keep plugging along in this when others have cried enough over the marathon 4 mile trip. Carries a light 10st2 and connections employ a 5lbs claimer in the saddle. Can go close again off this revised mark.

Kalypso’chance 11/10

Gordon Elliott was a big fan of this horse in his bumper days but speed clearly became an issue for him over the minimum trip. Stepped up to 2.5 miles last time out on deep ground for a Grade three at Navan, he won with a good bit in hand. Should unlock more improvement going up in trip again.

Trapain Law 9/2

Was sent off a well fancied favourite for this race last year but could only manage 4th place, finishing Behind Nells Son and Matata. Has slipped in the weights over the last year and lines up 10lbs lower for this renewal and looks well handicapped to play a hand. Carries a low weight and should get in the mix.

Found A Fifty 10/3

This will take a serious performance from Majborough to win first time out in open company after a long lay off against a race fit Found A Fifty. Connections have played around with distance for Found A Fifty but with how easily he despatched Dino Blue at Navan he looks to one to side with getting weight from the favourite.

Djelo 4/5

It’s not a deep renewal of this race and Djelo looked better than ever when dotting up in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on his seasonal comeback. Venetia Williams’ season hasn’t got going yet but he’s already kicked off the season with a win. Should go in again.
