ITV Racing Tips For Cheltenham Festival - Wednesday 10th March 2026

It's Day Two of The Cheltenham Festival, featuring another bumper crop of top graded action. A deep renewal of the Turners Novice Hurdle kicks off proceedings, followed by the Brown Advisory Novice Chase. Featuring the Champion Chase, Majborough looks to gain compensation for his defeat in last year's Arkle. We've gone through all the live ITV Races to pick out our selections for the afternoon.

No Drama This End 5/1

Perfectly fits the profile of a winner of this race, winning a Point to point, a bumper and a graded hurdle on his route to the Cheltenham Festival for this. Got off the mark over hurdles over C+D back in November and has since followed up with Grade two and Grade One success. Leading British hope for the race and handles any ground conditions.

Koktail Divin 15/2

Impressive winner at Leopardstown when last seen, running out a ready 21 lengths winner. Has been steadily progressive over fences and getting back up to 3 miles on quicker ground will see his stamina hold out. Kept fresh for this race and can use his speed to catch a few of these stayers cold up the run in.

Jingko Blue 12/1

Put in an eye-catching run to be 2nd behind Stayers’ Hurdle hope Kabral Du Mathan in the Relkeel Hurdle on New Years Day and retains a very workable looking mark of 144. More effective over hurdles over an intermediate trip, this race tends to go to one near the top of the weights having a bit more class. Graded form in the books and back in handicap company for a trainer that’s won 4 renewals of the race.

Vanillier 15/2

Stamina laden and finished 3rd in this race 12 months ago off a 2lbs higher mark. That effort can be marked up as he took the wrong route and lost his position at the head of the field before running on strongly. Won over the banks course at Punchestown in a similar contest last time out and looks too well handicapped off 145 not to be in the mix.

Majborough 5/6

With defending Champion Chaser Marine Nationale missing the Cheltenham Festival this year, Majborough looks to have a great chance to gain compensation for his Arkle defeat last year, looking like the winner before making a mistake and finishing a close 3rd. Improved massively for the application of cheekpieces in the Dublin Chase and a similar performance will see him crowned the Champion Chaser.

Jazzy Matty 8/1

Already 2 two time Cheltenham Festival winner, having won the Fred Winter as a juvenile and this race last year. Has been well campaigned this season with this target in mind, running over hurdles and protecting his chase mark. Returns 8lbs higher in the weights but carries a nice racing weight of 11st2lbs. Can make it back to back wins in this race.
