Roseys Hollow finished second to Dinoblue last time out here, and unfortunately, it's tough to see her turning that form around. Prior to Cork, she ran third at Naas in January, behind Jerermys Flame and Dolcita.

She didn't jump at all well there and she was slow and cumbersome at virtually all of them. So, her Cork run did represent some improvement, but again she was slow, and novicey at more than you'd like.

She will have to brush up on her jumping if she's to have any sort of meaningful crack at the market principals here. Needs improvement.

Impervious

Impervious was a pretty useful mare last season, competing in all the top graded mares novice hurdles, including a 5th in the Mares Novice at the Festival in March.

She showed a good deal of ability throughout the year, and she was pretty unlucky on a few occasions too - but she really does look a different beast entirely for chasing.

She made her chase debut at Wexford on Halloween, and she absolutely bolted up. She was very quick, and accurate over her obstacles, I really couldn't fault her efficiency, and she was heavily, heavily eased towards the finished and won in a hack-canter.

She was hard to fault there and with improvement expected, she could well give Dinoblue a tough task. Top chance.

Hope Des Blins really does have something of a point to prove now. She's failed to complete on her last two starts - at Fairyhouse and Cork respectively.

She does have bits and pieces of good form to her name when she has completed though, as highlighted when finishing second to Secret She Keeps at Thurles in October.

Even on that - her best form - she will still have to improve a bucket load to get any where near the market principals here. Tough ask.

Dinoblue fairly burst onto the scene last year when scooting up in a Clonmel maiden hurdle - she was immediately sighted toward the Mares Novice at the Festival. She failed to win again over hurdles, finishing; 9th, 4th, and 4th.

She didn't really impress with her hurdling fluency at all last year, but it was always fairly evident she had some real talent. She made her chase debut here in November - and it was pretty impressive too.

She made all and jumped really well throughout, and she came away nicely from the re-opposing Roseys Hollow up the run in, with the pair 46L clear of the third.

That was a good show and she can be expected to improve again, which should make her tough to beat. Top chance.

Instit won on her racecourse debut at Pau, in a maiden hurdle when knuckling down well at the finish. She's yet to win again since but she's ran a few good races in defeat. She was bought and sent to Willie Mullins after her success at Pau, and she made her debut at odds of 8/13 and ultimately finished second to Man O Work at Limerick. Shortly afterwards, she ran the useful Party Central to a close enough second in a listed novice hurdle at Punchestown. She then ran at Auteuil in a listed mares hurdle where she finished an underwhelming fourth. She clearly has a good deal of ability and she's a good chance if she takes to fences. Interesting.
