Found A Fifty made an excellent start to his chasing career at Down Royal at the start of November for Gordon Elliott. The six-year-old jumped excellently in that Beginners Chase over an extended two miles and three furlongs, and went clear from the field two furlongs from home.

He finished the race incredibly well on that day, with Colonel Mustard finishing eight lengths behind in second. Likely to find this more of a challenge, but he looks like a ready-made chaser and should give a very good account at Fairyhouse.

I Am Maximus represents the Willie Mullins yard this weekend and will be sporting the colours of J P McManus. The seven-year-old has won just once from five starts over the bigger obstacles, but he does boast some high-quality form.

That includes a fourth behind The Real Whacker and Gerri Colombe in the G1 Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase at the Cheltenham Festival. He was last seen in April finishing a length clear of Gevrey over three miles and five furlongs in the Irish Grand National. The trip this weekend is likely to be on the sharper side for this runner.

Sunday could be a big day for the Gavin Cromwell yard, and Letsbeclearaboutit could be one of his stars to keep an eye on for the season ahead. The eight-year-old has been excellent since switching his attentions to the larger obstacles, having won on both starts this term. He was an excellent winner on heavy ground at Gowran in September, beating Largy Debut by five lengths.

Meanwhile, he furthered his credentials over fences when last seen as he finished a stunning ten lengths clear of Mighty Tom in the G3 Paddy Power Feel Like A Favourite Irish IBF Novice Chase at Cork. Both wins have come over this distance, and he could be set for a landmark win.

Perceval Legallois represents the Gavin Cromwell stable this weekend, and will be sporting the colours of J P McManus. The six-year-old was excellent on his first start over fences in early October, beating Neveradullmoment by over two lengths at Galway.

However, the runner is in need of a response this weekend after falling in the G3 Paddy Power Feel Like A Favourite Irish IBF Novice Chase at Corkin in early November. He was going well for a long way on that day, but it’s unlikely that he would have got on terms with the eventual winner.

Sharjah will face his biggest challenge over fences to date when he lines up in the Drinmore this weekend. The ten-year-old for Willie Mullins has been in fine form over the bigger obstacles to this point, having landed two straight wins.

His debut saw him beat Mars Harper by eleven lengths in August, before he returned to the track with a 12-length demolition of Captain Conby in the G3 O’Dwyer Steel Dundrum Novice Chase at Tipperary. Remains of huge interest in this first run in Grade 1 company over fences.
