William Hill Handicap Hurdle - Landrake

Doesn’t immediately catch the eye with recent form but digging deeper he looked a talented hurdler for Gordon Elliott before finding chasing well out of his comfort zone this season.

He reverts back to hurdles now having been sold and sent for training with Jamie Snowden but he looks on a decent handicap mark for his return to timber and might just relish this.

Mersey Novices' Hurdle - Caldwell Potter

Looked to be one of the most promising novice hurdlers over in Ireland this season but after the sale of all the Caldwell Construction horses he found himself in the care of Paul Nicholls and skipping Cheltenham.

William Hill Handicap Chase - Twig

A summer plate winner at Uttoxeter, Twig is a tried and tested staying chaser but proved many doubters wrong when handling the mud to be a close 2nd in the Ultima last month behind Chianti Classico.

The handicapper has had a swipe at him but he still looks well enough treated to have a say in this if in the same mood.

Liverpool Hurdle - Buddy One

Sprang a surprise to be involved in the finish the in Stayers Hurdle last month at a big price and traveled in eye-catching fashion before wilting up the hill.

Might just benefit for a switch to a flatter track but there’s no 40/1+ available for him this time out.

Randox Grand National Handicap Chase - Delta Work

Gordon Elliott’s veteran has been a reliable campaigner over the years and has won Grade Ones over fences including an Irish Gold Cup.

His targets have been switched as he gets older and he’s been aimed at the X-Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, beating Tiger Roll before contesting the Grand National and coming 3rd.

He looked to follow the same path last year, winning the X-Country Chase again but unfortunately unseating in the National when looking to be going well.

Randox Grand National Handicap Chase - Latenightpass

An outsider but one that is worth considering off a mark of 149. Latenightpass is no stranger to the Grand National fences having run well in the Hunter Chase at this meeting multiple times and has shown his staying ability to win and be placed in Cross Country Chases.

The Cross Country events at Cheltenham have become leading trials for the National as they provide a real unique jumping test that needs plenty of stamina.

Maghull Novices' Chase - Found A Fifty

Not able to live with Gaelic Warrior in the Arkle, Found a Fifty was a clear cut 2nd in the leading trial for this race

His form took a boost from earlier in the season where he only found recent winner Il Etait Temps too good in the Irish Arkle and if running anywhere near to that quality he should run out a ready winner of this.

Weatherbys Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race - I'm A Lumberjack

A tricky puzzle to unpick, this bumper can throw up a variety of results so it might not be worth getting too caught up on one at the top of the market.

Getting deeper into the betting shows I’m A Lumberjack has some interesting form and ran well in a listed bumper when last seen, recording an eye-catching RPR of 116.
