Who To Follow On Day Four At The Cheltenham Festival?

Horse To Follow - Goshen

The four year old has really turned some heads on all three of his runs over hurdles so far this season winning by a combined 68 lengths at Fontwell, Sandown and Ascot.

His trainer Gary Moore has compared this horse to some of the greats he has trained during his career and having been a smart horse on the flat he looks a freak over hurdles.

The youngster, although not being the smartest of jumpers over his obstacles has looked a serious athlete with plenty of pace on the flat and should take all the beating if taking to this left handed track.

Trainer To Follow - Paul Nolan

Paul Nolan only has one runner at the festival tomorrow and after having a long time without a special horse he finally again has one.

This seven year old Latest Exhibition has gone from strength to strength this season over hurdles landing three out of his four contests to date seeing off some of the best novices of the year including Andy Dufresne, Fury Road and Longhouse Poet.

The only horse to beat him this season came when when he was tried at two miles which showed that he was a stayer and not a pace merchant and he was outclassed by the Gordon Elliott trained Abacadabras who finished a narrow second in the Supreme Novices Hurdle.

His win in the Grade One Novice Hurdle on at the Dublin Racing festival saw him tackle his furthest trip over two and three-quarter miles and proved to bring the best out of him and now a leading contender for the Albert Bartlett.

Jockey To Follow - Eoin Walsh

This young rider picks up some handy rides for Gigginstown in these amateur riders races and in the Martin Pipe on Friday he rides Column Of Fire for the owners and Gordon Elliott.

The six year old looks a very progressive youngster that won nicely at Punchestown two starts ago in an 18 runner event and then last time out ran another stormer at Leopardstown.

He is a fast improving horse that in his last six races has placed five times only showing how consistent he is and with this smart young jockey on board he has a huge chance.
