Bring On The Night

Easy winner of Naas maiden hurdle on soft ground late February, Bring On The Night boasts a highly unexposed profile to the table.

With good flat form in France, this Willie Mullins trained horse will command respect, but doesn't seem to be first, second or third string as per the betting.

As mentioned, he fairly scooted up in a Naas maiden hurdle but, it is hard to know what he beat there.

He's definitely a nice horse, perhaps this stern test may come too soon for this son of Gleneagles?

Two from two under rules, Constitution Hill looks to be one of the horses to beat in this race.

More often than not, the Tolworth hurdle at Sandown isn't the best trial for the Supreme, but it was hard not to be taken by the manner in which he won.

In heavy going, he barely came off the bridle to beat some nice horses, with Shallwehaveonemore 25L back in 4th.

His demeanour is ideal for a race of this nature, where they're sure to go a mad gallop and prior to the race, with crowds back in attendance there will certainly be an electric atmosphere.

Seemingly bombproof constitution wise (pardon the pun) he ticks plenty off boxes both on and off the track.

Unbeaten in two bumpers and two hurdles races, Dysart Dynamo looks to be Willie's number one. He's looked ultra impressive this season, latterly, winning by 19L without breaking a sweat.

Prior to that success, he won his maiden hurdle, again, by 19. So - if you fancy Dysart Dynamo to win, perhaps request a bet to win by 19L!

The one issue with him, for me, is his mentality. Unlike the rock solid mind of Constitution Hill, Dysart Dynamo seems to be a bit of a live wire.

He won a bumper last year whilst racing with his nose to the heavens, which is, a nod to his ability nonetheless.

I would be worried about the preliminaries with this horse, so if you really fancy him, perhaps wait until they're at the post and assess his wellbeing before hitting that *bet* button.

He has huge ability, massive question mark regarding his temperament, though he has looked more settled over obstacles.

Last year's Champion Bumper runner up, falling victim to a superb ride from Rachel Blackmore on Sir Gerhard (who is Ballymore bound). He reversed the form in a G1 at Punchestown after.

He started his novice hurdle campaign by being beaten at odds of 1/14 and 4/9 before obliging at the third time of asking.

His second start over hurdles was a good enough effort, whilst looking awkward half way up the running. He was beaten by Journey With Me and Minella Crooner that day in a race that's worked out well.

He got off the mark at Punchestown winning by 21L in a canter, which proves he does have serious ability.

Risks attached, but for a genius in Willie Mullins, and boasting good festival form, he's impossible to rule out.

Aidan Coleman

Jonbon

On pedigree, this fella would have the sexiest page, being a full brother to none other than Douvan. On form, he's right up there too.

Unbeaten in five starts, including a P2P, Jonbon seems to be one of the better horses in this red hot contest. He's won two G2's and he's done it from the front, or off the pace.

I think he's one of the best jumpers in the field, seemingly very quick over and away from his hurdles.

He does have a tendency to be on his toes in the preliminaries though, so like Dysart Dynamo, I'd have my eye firmly on him prior to flag fall.

To his credit, his antics at the start seem to be irrelevant as he settles and travels perfectly during the race.

One of the more likely winners.

Silent Revolution

A winner of his only start over hurdles to date, Silent Revolution got the better of Broomfield Burg in a Newbury novice hurdle on the 4th of November.

Broomfield Burg has gone on to bigger and better things so he did beat a fair enough type.

The absence and inexperience has to be a worry though, and he will need to find a bucket load to get involved in the finish.

Jack Kennedy

Mighty Potter

J: Jack Kennedy
T: Gordon Elliott
N/A
Age: 5
Weight: 11-7
OR: 146
Days: 78

A Gordon Elliot trained son of Martaline, this horse is three from four, and arguably unlucky not to be unbeaten.

It's no secret that Gordon loves this horse and it's easy to see why. He's an uncomplicated ride with a high cruising speed and massive engine.

He won a G1 last time out at Leopardstown beating a good field. He has a tendency to jump inefficiently though and does make a few mistakes.

If he's there or thereabouts at the last, he'll have a huge say in the finish.

Joshua Moore

Shallwehaveonemore

J: Joshua Moore
T: Gary Moore
N/A
Age: 5
Weight: 11-7
OR: 133
Days: 17

Runner up in the G2 Dovecote Hurdle at Kempton to the improving Aucunrisque when travelling like the winner at all stages bar the final flight, which he clattered.

His ability is no secret but he isn't the best jumper at all, and does have a lot to find on ratings, though he will appreciate the likely strong pace which will help him settle.

For the Moore's who are in good form, he's not without an each way chance, but even that looks a tough ask.

Disappointing when last seen when strongly fancied for the Betfair Hurdle, Jpr One has it all to do in this contest.

He was a winner at Exeter and Taunton prior to his Betfair flop, and should have won over course and distance but for idling up the run in.

He is a nice prospect for the future, but he will more than likely find this a mammoth test at this stage of his career.

Lots to prove.
