Paul Nicholls is well on his way to becoming the champion trainer in Britain for the 12th time this season and on Saturday he will be hoping that some of his runners can go well and help him towards that title.
In the first race of the day he fields Dolos who is dropping back into handicap company having been running in Grade Two events and has a big chance off top weight.
In the feature race of the day he holds one of the leading chances with Hitman, who was a good second behind Allmankind in a Grade One last time out and the step up in trip should bring some improvement.
Another big chance for the master trainer is Yala Enki in the Cotswold Chase who at 8/1 offers big value in what is set to be heavy conditions that he thrives in.
Nicholls heads into the meeting posing a nice strike rate for the last two weeks having four winners from 19 runners which sees him running at 21.05%.
