Today's throwback race of the day looks at the All-Weather Championship meeting at Lingfield which takes place on Friday and back in 2019 in the sprint division, a certain Kachy set the card alight.
Kachy was a once in a lifetime horse for trainer Tom Dascombe and owner David Lowe that unfortunately passed away in February last year after going wrong.
Over the years the horse was one of the fastest seen on the All-Weather and in 2019 he went on to win the Sprint Championships at Lingfield.
What was so special about this performance was the way rider Richard Kingscote got him to take many lengths out the field on the bend and from there he was not for catching.
He is a horse that will live long in the memory of this meeting for this performance.
Enjoy!
