The Cheltenham festival is now just six days away and today we are looking back at one of the best races over the last five years that came on the second day of the meeting.

The Grade One RSA Novices' Chase, now the Brown Advisory, back in 2020 gave us one of the best spectacles seen at the Cheltenham festival.

Three top class horses in Champ, Allaho and Minella Indo made the race very special and it looked for a long time like the Irish were going to take it, but it was Nicky Henderson's superstar who made history.

Minella Indo and Allaho took each other on the whole way round and jumping the last were over 10 lengths clear of Champ back in third.

The front two stumbled over the last fence and lost a bit of momentum, which allowed Champ to rally under a superb ride by Barry Geraghty and get up on the line when it looked impossible.

It will always be one of the special races at the festival over the last few years and today we are looking back at it.

Enjoy!
