One Horse, Jockey And Trainer To Follow At The Curragh On Sunday

Horse To Follow - Colour Sergeant

The first race of the day in Ireland brings our horse to follow in a big fielded seven furlong Maiden contest that sees some nice youngsters heading to post.

We are siding with the Ger Lyons trained Colour Sergeant who has been very unlucky in her runs to date always seeming to bump into a superstar.

The two year old has raced five times and has not finished outside the top three on all of his runs with three seconds in a row in his last three.

Over course and distance he was runner up to Group One winner Thunder Moon, then two starts ago he was second again this time behind Brazil for Aidan O'Brien and last time out at Cork he was behind a nice type for Jessica Harrington.

He has shown clear form on both good and soft ground and this looks his time to get off the mark.

Trainer To Follow - Jessica Harrington

Jessica Harrington has had a very successful season on the flat and is priming a strong team for the big races in autumn in both England and Ireland.

At The Curragh on Sunday she has a handful of nice runners that all have a great chance of going well, especially No Speak Alexander and Equilove.

Harrington has had 10 winners and 17 places at The Curragh this season and she will be looking to add to that at the weekend.

Jockey To Follow - Seamie Heffernan

Seamie Heffernan has had one of his best seasons to date, riding all of the best Aidan O'Brien horses and on Sunday he has some more nice chances.

Heffernan has had 12 winners and 10 places from his 44 rides at The Curragh this season which sees him pose a superb strike rate of 27.27%.

His big rides across the day are Order Of Australia, Dawn Patrol and Van Gogh all for Coolmore and they are all in with a big chance according to the betting market.
