On Wednesday we have picked out one horse that is well in with the handicapper and with that in mind could run a big race at Newmarket this afternoon.
The three year old Pocket The Profit has been given a big chance by the handicapper to land a back to back wins having scored on seasonal debut last time out.
The gelding was seen frequently last term making his debut in May and racing nine times, going on a classy run of wins towards the back end of the term.
Having been tried over 5/6f on his first four runs and it not working out, he went to Brighton over 7f in a Nursery Handicap and landed the first race of his career.
Off the back of that he went on to land four straight races between 5/6f, really finding his mojo on both the turf and the all weather.Up to a mark of 79 to start this season, he made a winning return at Pontefract on soft ground and only up 6lb for this run he should go close again.
He is effectively 5lb well in for this event with him set to go up to a mark of 90 for his next run.
