Minzaal has been electric this term, having landed the Group Two Gimcrack Stakes last time out at York's Ebor meeting.

He looked to be a rising star for the Owen Burrows yard having made his debut at Ascot in a classy maiden and finishing fourth.

He came on massively for that run and cruised to victory in a Class 5 event at Salisbury, winning by just under four lengths but never coming off the bridle.

In what looked a decent field of juveniles, he again travelled strongly into the six furlong event and when Crowley went for the whip he responded in kind and pulled away from the field to take his first group contest of his career.

Martyn Meade

The son of Mehmas has made a really exciting start to life on a racecourse winning in good fashion at Doncaster on debut and that form since has been franked having beat Group 2 Prix du Calvados winner Fev Rover by four and a quarter lengths that day.

Off the back of that win he headed to Newbury in the Listed Rose Bowl Stakes and again showed a very taking performance to land the contest.

Connections hold him in very high regard and it is nice to see Martyn Meade have another potential superstar after having multiple Group One winner Advertise for the last few years.

His owners, after his Listed win decided to swerve both the Group One Prix Morny and the Richmond Stakes at Goodwood and now he is primed for this event on Saturday.

Supremacy looks another star in the making for Clive Cox off the back of what he has shown so far in his short career.

Cox's two year old laid down a big gauntlet for the rest of the juvenile sprinting division by landing the Group Two Richmond Stakes by four lengths at Glorious Goodwood, following in the footsteps of his sire Mehmas.

This came on just his third run in his career, where before he had landed a nice event at Windsor but now Clive Cox is dreaming big with this pacy youngster.

Like many in this field the juvenile skipped the Prix Morny and Gimcrack Stakes to be fresh for this Group One and if getting a nice position has the ability to go well.

Lucky Vega for Jessica Harrington has gave one of the two year old performances of the season when landing the Group One Phoenix Stakes on good to soft ground.

He pulled away from an exceptional field of juveniles that day but last time out stepped up to seven furlongs for National Stakes and have an underwhelming run.

Dropping back to six furlongs should get him back on track and with juice in the ground expected he can not be ruled out at a value price.

Her majesty The Queen's horse has ran four times during his career, starting off at Newmarket in a hot Novices Stakes where he finished a good third behind a smart type for Mark Johnston.

Since then the colt has landed two nice events, winning the Listed Windsor Castle Stakes at the Royal meeting and then backing that up at Newmarket in the Group Two July Stakes.

The natural progression for the juvenile was to step up to black type company and at Deauville in the Prix Morny he entered his first Group One event and with the heavy ground and class of field against him, he ran no sort of race.

However, he should come on for that experience and getting back on better ground could make him an interesting runner.

The two year old bounced onto the racing scene this season when breaking the track record at Yarmouth in a five furlong event.

He was then entered into the Group Two Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot, having just been bought by Qatar Racing and he went on to land the contest, just pipping American raider Golden Pal on the line.

He was last seen on Sunday at Chantilly in the small fielded six-furlong Prix Robert Papin and although suffering his first defeat of his career, he only went down by a short head to the Richard Hannon trained Ventura Tormenta.

He then headed to the Curragh for the Phoenix Stakes and although finishing second, the winner Lucky Vega was a class above and he will need to reverse that form.

Lipizzaner is the only runner for Aidan O'Brien and although winning well last timeout he will have to come on a fair bit for that run, now stepping up to this Group One.

The son of Uncle Mo finished second in soft ground maidens on his first two starts and then stepped up to finish fourth in the Group Two Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Having finally got off the mark last time out he is obviously showing improvement and any rain will look to be a positive to this horse who could be an unknown entity.

The final runner of the event is the John Joseph Murphy trained Charterhouse who is the outsider of the field and although being a nice two year old, looks outclassed in this field.

Tom Marquand picks up the ride for the same owners as Galileo Chrome who landed the St Leger under the rider but this looks a much bigger challenge.

The two year old has raced four times this season all on good ground over seven furlongs and with the ground expected to soften and dropping in trip he could be vulnerable.
