Teona for Roger Varian heads the betting for the Group Three event on Wednesday and the filly looks to have bundles of potential.

The daughter of Sea The Stars has been seen twice to date, finishing second on debut over a mile at Newcastle in October and when stepped up in trip a month later got off the mark in taking style.

The step up to 1m2f was the making of this horse as she dominated a decent field by nine lengths and now making her turf debut, she could well and truly stake her claim for the Oaks next month.

Big potential.

Sir Michael Stoute

Noon Star for Sir Michael Stoute has not done much wrong in her career to date and could be the value in the race, with Teona being very short.

This three year old made her debut at Salisbury in September last year and finished a good third over seven furlongs.

She was then sent to Nottingham on soft ground in October and opened her account for her career when landing a Fillies Maiden over 8.5 furlongs, seeing off the smart Ocean Road.

Saved for this term, she came back and made her seasonal debut at Wetherby over 1m2f and was an emphatic winner of a good Novice Stakes.

The form of that race has been massively franked with the fourth placed Sherbet Lemon since coming out and winning the Listed Oaks Trial at Lingfield on Saturday.

Leading form claims.

Mystery Angel

George Boughey
Age: 3
Weight: 9-0
OR: 95
Days: 10

Mystery Angel for George Boughey is one of the most experienced horses in the field being raced frequently as a juvenile and then also having four runs this year as a three year old.

She won two of her first three starts, getting off the mark on her second start at Wolverhampton and then at Newmarket on her first turf outing.

The filly was then stepped up to Group Three company over 10f and finished a fair third of eight, but after that was dropped to a mile for her last two runs and she finished second in both.

Back as a three year old she finished second on seasonal debut at Wolverhampton and then went over to France for a Listed event over 1m2f and was again runner up.

Up to 10.5 furlongs back at Saint Cloud, the heavy ground did not help her case and she could only finish fifth in another Listed event

She was last seen back on quick ground giving a career best performance when winning the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes over 1m2f and if improving again from that is a big player.

Has never won on soft ground so the key to this horse looks to be no rain.

A P O'Brien
Age: 3

Days: 215

Aidan O'Brien's only chance in the race is Snowfall who is having her first start this term having been raced frequently as a two year old.

Having needed her first two runs as a juvenile, she got off the mark at The Curragh at the third time of asking in a Fillies' Maiden.

However, since then she has raced four times between seven furlongs and a mile in decent graded events and has struggled being outclassed.

Stepping up in trip will hopefully bring improvement out of her, but O'Brien horses normally need the run on debut and might be best watched.

John Gosden also only fields one in the race and Senita looks a very likeable daughter of Frankel that will be much better for her first run of the season.

The three year old made her debut last season at Newmarket and finished second behind a nice type for Godolphin.

She was then another second behind the smart Lilac Road for William Haggas, but finally got off the mark on her final start last term when stepped up to a mile at Redcar on soft ground.

The filly stepped up in trip to 1m2f on seasonal debut at Newbury and finished last of seven with the run being too bad to be true.

She needs to come on for that run and her pedigree suggests she is worth another crack at this trip.

Wouldn't mind rain.

Andrew Balding
Age: 3
Weight: 9-0

Andrew Balding has been in electric form of late and in this event fields Auria, who looks a smart filly from her three runs to date.

The three year old was seen twice as a juvenile, finishing third in heavy ground over 7f on debut and when stepped up to a mile next time out got off the mark in good style at Kempton.

Saved for this season, the filly finished a good second on seasonal debut behind the Charlie Appleby trained Creative Flair over a mile at Ascot.

Balding will be hoping that more improvement will come with the step up in trip, but her pedigree suggests that she will do better at a mile.

The penultimate runner of the event is the Ed Walker trained Glenartney who has been seen twice during her short career to date.

She made her debut last season when needing the experience over 7f at Chelmsford, but next time out on heavy ground got off the mark in fine style at Newmarket.

Her pedigree suggests that the step up in trip will suit massively and if getting some rain on the Knavesmire before now and the race she could be a value each way player.

Interesting on first start as a three year old.

Adrian Paul Keatley
Age: 3
Weight: 9-0
OR: 88
Days: 27

The final runner of the event is the Adrian Keatley trained Quiet Assassin who is the big 66/1 outsider who has it all to do against some of these.

The daughter of Tamayuz was seen four times as a juvenile, getting off the mark on soft ground at Beverley on her debut, but after that being outclassed in all of her events.

She went over 7f at Doncaster in a Listed event and flopped and was then dropped to 6f at Ayr and did not suit that one bit.

Her final run of last season came in a Group Three at Newmarket and once again was not up to the standard of the other runners.

The filly was stepped up to a mile on her seasonal debut in April over a mile at Ripon and looked to massively need the run.

She might be a nice horse going handicapping later on in the season, but against this company and stepping up in trip makes her very vulnerable.
