Emmett Mullins-trained Feronily will be a leading contender in the Grade Two this weekend. The six-year-old returned to action at the start of last month, finishing second of three on testing ground behind My Design in the Mongey Communications Chase.
He was impressive over three miles throughout last season, which included a success over Appreciate It in the G1 Dooley Insurance Group Champion Novice Chase. That could be the key piece of form to consider this weekend, and it may be hard to overlook the six-year-old if he is back at that level of form.
He drops back in trip this weekend, but that shouldn’t be an issue after winning over two miles and three over hurdles at Limerick in March. Donagh Meyler takes the ride on the runner this weekend.
