It brings with it some of the most highly anticipated races of the week with it including of course the main race of the festival, the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Our Cheltenham Day 4 Tips take an in-depth look at all of the different races on this final day to bring you our very best tips for the concluding day.

Our team will take an in-depth look at each race of Day 4 to bring you all of our thoughts as to why we’ve selected each of our Day 4 tips. We will be using the recent form of the horses, jockeys and trainers to help us come to a conclusion of our most fancied horses of Gold Cup day.

Tips for Cheltenham Day 4

Triumph Hurdle - 13:30 (1:30)

The opener to the final day of the festival is certainly a good one this grade 1 contest for 4-year-olds. Our triumph hurdle tips will help you choose a future star.

County Hurdle - 14:10 (2:10)

This race is a two-mile handicap contest that has often seen big-priced outsiders run well. We take this into account with our County Hurdle Tips.

Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle - 14:50 (2:50)

The AB is the second Grade 1 of the day and is run over a length of 2 miles and 7 furlongs. There is plenty of scope for outsiders to perform well here. See or AB Hurdle tips to see our thoughts on the card.

Cheltenham Gold Cup - 15:30 (3:30)

The penultimate race of the Cheltenham Festival, the Gold Cup is the most highly anticipated event of the week. It runs over a distance of 3 miles and 2 furlongs and is extremely competitive. Take a look at our Gold Cup tips to see who we’ve selected and why.

Foxhunter Chase - 16:10 (4:10)

The follow up to the Gold Cup event is known as the ‘amateur Gold Cup’ as it is essentially the same race run over the same ground but only open to amateur riders. There is scope here for outsiders in this event and we’ll take that into account with our Foxhunter Chase Tips.

Mrs Paddy Power Mares' Chase - 16:50 (4:50)

Martin Pipe Handicap Hurdle - 17:30 (5:30)

Cheltenham Gold Cup Tips

As mentioned before the Cheltenham Gold Cup is the biggest race of the entire week and falls on the final day of the festival, Friday. This is the main race that everyone wants to secure a winner in. Making our Cheltenham Day 4 Tips

During the months on the run-up to the festival, we’ll be watching all of the horses, trainers and jockeys to bring you the most informed tips on day 4 of Cheltenham. We’ll also be monitoring the results from day one, two and three of the festival to see which trainers have been performing best. This will give us a better idea of which horse may have the best capabilities of winning on the final day of Cheltenham.

The final day of the Cheltenham Festival features some of the biggest races of the 4-day long national hunt event.
