The feature race of the day in Ireland is the Listed Mares Novice Hurdle and we are siding with another Willie Mullions horse in Braganza.

This individual is a very unique son of Nathaniel, having been seen for the first time in his career back in 2017 over a mile at Chelmsford when finishing last of five.

Off the track for close to four years, he returned for Mullins over hurdles and went on to land a Maiden Hurdle at Thurles over two miles.

He took the event by six lengths and got better the further the race went and we think he will improve for that run in Listed company.

Willie Mullins could be set for a big day at Thurles on Sunday with him sending a good team of runners to the track and he looks to have a chance in nearly every race.

One of his biggest shouts on the day comes in the first, which sees Stratum go over fences for just the second time in his career.

In the feature Listed Mares Novice Hurdle he fields the unique Braganza who is only having the second run of her career over fences.

Finally, another runner that takes the eye for the yard is Eabha Grace who is a half sister to the superstar Bob Olinger and she makes her bumper debut.

Mullins heads into the meeting at Thurles sporting a strike of 31% for the last two weeks, managing to land 13 winners from just 42 runners.

The jockey to follow on Sunday is the top man for Mullins with Paul Townend getting on some nice chances for his retained handler.

Like previously mentioned, horses like Stratum and Braganza have huge chances for Mullins and with Townend doing the steering it makes you even more confident.
