UK & Ireland Weekend Lucky15

UK & Ireland Weekend Lucky15

🇮🇪🇬🇧 Weekend Feature Race Preview 🇬🇧🇮🇪

Punchestown’s Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle and Kempton’s Lanzarote Handicap headline what looks a solid weekend of racing across the UK & Ireland and we have kindly put together a 167/1 Lucky15 for those looking for the early value. If you are unsure on how a Lucky15 works and would like more information on the bet then visit our Lucky15 page HERE.

Saturday – Punchestown 14:10 – SkyBet Moscow Flyer Novice Hurdle

Getabird 1/1

Willie Mullins has conquered four of the previous five renewals of this race and he holds seriously strong claims with evens shot Getabird. He is unbeaten in three starts for the Irish trainer, winning fashionably on both soft and heavy outlining his appreciation for some cut in the ground which is exactly what he’ll get this weekend. We feel he is a justified favourite and worthy selection to kick off our weekend Lucky15, although Mengli Khan, who is unbeaten this season bar a freak occurrence last time out is sure to be there or thereabouts alongside Getabird’s stablemate Carter McKay.

Saturday – Kempton 14:40 – Lanzarote Handicap

Le Patriote 7/1

A slight risk is taken that Doc Newland has Le Patriote fine tuned for his UK & Stable debut in the feature race at Kempton, but if he does he will be a danger to all in similar conditions to what he has relished over in France. He looks thrown in of a very nice weight of 10-4 and has the potential to be a lot better than this race. His previous form is obviously tricky to compare but the early market vibes have been very encouraging (currently 7/1 from 12/1) and we are willing to take the gamble.

Saturday – Kempton 15:15 – Handicap Chase

Fountains Windfall 13/8

The Handicap Chase swiftly follows the Lazarote Handicap and we are siding with market favourite Fountains Windfall. He is sure to have his critics as he has failed to complete his last two outings, but he was 2l clear of the 155 rated and subsequent Grade1 winner Black Corton when falling last time out and although it’s impossible to say how the race would have panned out, he was travelling smoothly enough to finish off a big race and that form looks solid in this sphere.

Sunday – Fairyhouse 15:35 – Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Chase

Acapella Bourgeois 3/1

We head to Fairyhouse on Sunday for the last piece of the puzzle and it should be worth the wait. For us, Acapella Bourgeois’ defeat to stablemate Polidam at Navan out can be forgotten about given he was so prominent in the market and was the first string on jockey bookings. He is also the one out of the pair entered into this year’s Cheltenham Gold Cup so he is evidently held in high regard, and should make amends for this season’s mishaps in a moderate looking affair.
