Saturday Picks Of The Meetings

On Saturday there are nine race meetings dotted around England and Ireland. From highly talented racing with Group 1 and 2 races to standard listed and class races, there are plenty of winners to be had.

Beverley 4:20 –  Inflexiball Each Way

Beverley on Saturday hosts a seven race card with multiple different classed races between all scattered age groups.

The race that takes the eye is the class 5 D&P Warehousing Handicap over just under 1 mile 2 furlongs. Inflexiball in this race could feature prominently come the winning post.

This John Mackie trained six year old is a consistent performer and last year was a dual winner. Last time out over course and distance he ran on well and not needing to improve on that much to be there or thereabouts.

3:35 Leicester – Easy Tiger Win 5/1

Leicester Racecourse plays host to a seven race card with the 3:35 class 3 the race that excites the most out of the card.

The H.A.C Group Of Companies Handicap over 7 furlongs offers a strong field of runners, but Easy Tiger is the horse that could land the race.

Before his last outing he had a 113 day break and on his reappearance run he finished a good second at Goodwood. Won this last year and could do it again this year off 4 pounds higher .

12:20 Sandown – Haddaf  6/1 Win

The First Race on Saturday is the Coral Charge at Sandown over 5 furlongs and this Group 3 starting the Coral Eclipse meeting off.

The James Tate trained three year old in is last four races has gone on to win three of them strongly. Two of those wins came at Sandown over the same distance giving him dual course and distance form.

Haddaf loves the ground good or good to firm and that is predicted for Saturday. This horse thrives on this course and when winning here last time out he beat a strong field of 1o with three of them running in the Coral Charge on the weekend.

7:20 Bellewstown – Ballybrowney Jack 14/1 Win

The second of the two Irish meetings is at Bellewstown and is the one of the night meetings on Saturday with the seven race card one of the few national hunt meetings.

The 7:20 Sean Rothwell Construction Handicap Hurdle over 3 miles see’s a lot of horses supplemented, but the Joseph O’Brien trained Ballybrowney Jack takes the eye.

This five year old will be going up against some experienced veterans but this should play to his strengths. His three runs this year have been consistent with all of them showing potential over a long distance. This trip should suit and he can build on his positive year so far.

8:00 Carlisle – It’s Never Enough Win 7/1

Another of the night meetings is at the north of the country in Carlisle and the class 4 handicap over 7 furlongs.

The 8:00 Racing UK Handicap will be a competitively run race with It’s Never Enough taking the eye.

The James Ewart trained four year old has had three starts this year and has been in fair form with two credible thirds in his last runnings. Going up to Handicap company for the first time he can’t be ruled out.

3:15 Chelmsford – Labrega Win 9/4

The only all weather meeting on Saturday is at Chelmsford City with the class 3, five furlong sprint at 3:15 offering a lot of betting scope.

The Extra Places At totesport.com Handicap see’s a lot of horses going to post that won last time out. One of those is the Hugo Palmer trained Labrega.

From this three year olds two runs this season he has been consistent with figures of 21 last time beating a field of 8 at Haydock. He can build on that a give a good showing on Handicap Debut.

2:20 Haydock – Mythmaker Win 7/2

The Final Meeting on the Saturday to pick from is at Haydock park with a seven race card and the class 2 6 furlong sprint showing off some experienced horses.

The bet365 Conditions Stakes will see a small field going to post and myth maker has the form to go close in this race.

He has course and distance form with his performances this year being fairly consistent. off a Nic make and being at the horses best he can be in the frame.
