Ascot E/W Lucky 15

Royal Ascot E/W Lucky 15

Following on from our Royal Ascot Win Lucky we have a juicy e/w version paying over £5.1k from just £1 e/w.

Throughout the five days we are treated to some of the biggest races in the flat season calendar, with our four selections coming from the Coventry, Britannia, King Stand & Prince Of Wales Stakes. We have made some nice profit from our e/w lucky’s in recent months and are confident we can go one bigger here – just in time for your summer holiday! ☀️💵

20/06/17 – Coventry Stakes – Ascot 15:05

Our Selection: De Bruyne Horse

Recent Form Figures: 511

Richard Hannon’s ‘De Bruyne Horse’ gets us underway in the 15:05 on the opening day in what looks a solid renewal of the Coventry Stakes. He comes into the race seeking a quick-fire hat-trick following two dominant displays at both Ripon and Epsom, with the latter being very impressive given the fact he didn’t take kindly to the course.

Admittedly, this race has some real dangers. Irish raider and market favourite ‘Brother Bear’ looks a very promising type and would probably be a lot shorter under a more fashionable stable given his first two outings. A reverse forecast looks a tasty bet at 6/1 & 7/1, but our preference is for De Bruyne Horse who has progressed race-by-race and should have a lot more to offer.

20/06/17 – King Stand Stakes – Ascot 15:05

Our Selection: Lady Aurelia

Recent Form Figures: 1

Next up is last year’s Ascot star ‘Lady Aurelia’. In what was a fantastic five days she absolutely stole the show, bolting up by 7lengths without really getting into full-swing. If she can re-produce similar levels then she will take some stopping, and her recent reappearance outlined no concerns for connections with her again cantering home fashionably.

Frankie Dettori is expected to be aboard, but having suffered a setback a few days ago Ryan Moore took her out for some work, after which Wesley Ward claims he was ”going on and on about her”. She is evidently full of ability and will be a tough nut to crack – especially with the drying conditions set to suit.

21/06/17 – Prince Of Wales Stakes – 21/06/17

Our Selection: Decorated Knight

Recent Form Figures: 1161

We believe Roger Charlton’s Decorated Knight has a big chance in this year’s Prince Of Wales Stakes. He recently claimed the Tattersalls Gold Cup at The Curragh after a successful spell in Dubai, which puts him in a nice position in a race which is definitely there for the taking.

John Gosden’s Dubai Classic victor Jack Hobbs will of course be popular at the top of the market, but we don’t think much of the form of that race with Postponed not being the horse he once was and Seventh Heaven subsequently dropping down in class. In a wide open race, Decorated Knight at 12/1 looks huge e/w value in conditions which he will relish.

22/06/17 – Britannia Stakes – 22/06/17

Our Selection: Son Of The Stars

Recent Form Figures: 112

Last but not least we have Qatar Racing’s new prospect ‘Son Of The Stars’. We made this colt our NAP at the start of May after two wins on the all-weather, and after trading agonisingly short in-running he was somehow pipped at the line. This run on turf will only bring him on however and we are willing to give him another chance.

He is certainly bred for the job, and the ability already shown suggests this should be no more than a stepping stone to bigger and better things. 8/1 is a steal of a price!
